In 2002 while living in our dream home on Hartwell Lake, we purchased a 13-acre farm just 6 miles from our lake home with no intention of moving or having animals. It took us about 6 months to realize that this land was too pretty to just sit there.

The following 2 years we researched small animals, visited lots and lots of small farms and finally decided that miniature donkeys were for us!

We purchased our first two bred jennets in 2005; then 2 months later purchased 2 more. We were hooked!
We have sold our lake house, moved to our 13-acre farm; purchased a 56-acre farm and are building a home there.

We breed only quality, registered miniature donkeys. The donkeys receive all of their shots, hoof care, worming and lots of attention and love.
