Welcome to HeeHaw Junction Farm

In 2002, while living in our dream home on Hartwell Lake, we purchased a 13-acre farm just 6 miles from our lake home with no intention of moving or having animals. It took us about 6 months to realize that this land was too pretty to just sit there.

The following 2 years we researched small animals, visited lots and lots of small farms and finally decided that miniature donkeys were for us!

We purchased our first two bred jennets in 2005; then 2 months later purchased 2 more. We were hooked! We sold our lake house in 2007 and moved to our 13-acre farm while building on a beautiful 56-acre farm in Fair Play. In November, 2008, we moved to our new home and brought the donkeys with us! The farm is still a work-in-progress, but we are getting the fencing done and pastures ready. It is definitely a labor of love.

We breed only quality, registered miniature donkeys. The donkeys receive all of their shots, hoof care, worming and lots of attention and love.

It is our intention to place our donkeys only in caring and loving homes. We try to keep a good selection of donkeys available at all times.
